If i was making one i would use cotton batting. Sew doubled up ribbon to the top of one design wall that has a laminate backing. I saw something like this at a quilt show once but couldn t afford to buy it. The blocks are suppose to stick to it when one rolls it up for storage. Design walls are available commercially but it s easy to make an inexpensive portable or permanent quilt design wall.
